Deadlifts...!


WOD:

Deadlifts 1-1-1-1

Today's workout consisted of heavy deadlift singles. Now before I started CrossFit I made a couple of goals, one of them was to be able to DL twice my bodyweight (165-lbs.) and then eventually be able to DL twice my bodyweight 10x times. Here were my totals, post-warmup:

275-295-315 PR-320 EPIC FAIL!

315... not quite 330-lbs. but I guess I'll have to take it.

305-lbs. was my previous PR so a +10 pound improvement after 1-month of CF feels pretty good. After I hit that 315 I thought (and felt) like I was gonna pass out; Jerry pointed out some form/technique failures which I must address next time - especially before maxing out.
