Office Guy #1: "Sean? Why're you walking like you got hit by a truck?"
Me: "This is the price I pay for trying to be awesome."
Office Guy #2: "What were you doing? Do you workout or something?"
Me: "Yeah, something like that - I was doing Back Squats yesterday."
Office Guy #1: "What are 'Back Squats?'"
Me: "*SIGH* Nevermind."

Guy #1 had it right, I do feel as if I got ran over by a truck! Back Squats are punishing me right now but I feel good about it though. I'd be a little concerned that I didn't push myself if I wasn't walking funny or feeling sore. But deep down I knew I brought the wood yesterday morning and my lower extremities are paying dearly for it.

With all that being said Push Press went "okay" this morning. With the leg soreness it was a little hard to muster up that essential "dip & drive" that is oh so key in a good push press so I was only able to put up a solid 205-lbs. I issued the challenge to Dan this morning that I was vying for Team 0515 push press dominance - he took that as fiery motivation and decimated me with a 215-lb. push press. He wins this time...

Man, the conditioning WOD completely caught me off guard. I'm not sure what's going on with my double unders lately but I cannot get into a rhythm at all. That was a major setback in almost every round. Pushups caught me off guard as well - I feel like my shoulder is almost back to being fully operational but I have done serious pushups in a long time. Today was evidence of that. Either way got a really good sweat and afterwards I tried doing sets of Glute-Ham raises but the complaints from my quads quickly extinguished any hope of doing so.
