More Heavy Met-Con Ninjutsu

WOD:

3-RFT.

10 Clean & Jerk (155-lbs.)
10 Burpees
10 Pullups (Chest-to-Bar)

Time: 14:54

Peer pressure got the best of me today - a couple of the stronger dudes on Team 0515 decided to big or go home and went with the prescribed weight of 155-lbs. for the Clean & Jerk. Naturally I didn't wanna be the "nerd at the school dance" so to speak so, I too, went big. Huge mistake! I could barely clean the RX'd weight and here are two reasons why:

1.) 155-lbs. is too heavy!
C.) My clean form & technique is non-existent!

Self-intervention is almost necessary at this point - I'm going to re-direct my focus to form & technique and away from the numbers game for a while. I've been @ CFOT for almost 7-weeks now and I want a solid foundation to build upon. Hopefully the change will make me a better, technically sound, and well-rounded athlete.

That's the way to go. Get a solid form then work heavy. You'll be better in the long run.
