Disappointing Week

I've been slacking on the internet documentation of an otherwise horrible week of CrossFit. I'll just do some quick re-caps...

Monday
Totally slept through my alarm like a total LAMEBOT.

Tuesday
WOD - "Elizabeth"
21-15-9
135-lbs. Squat Cleans/Ring Dips

Time: 17:08

For some reason I couldn't get any of the Squat Cleans to be "touch & go." I always feel like I can go faster but there is an almost innate lack of execution from mind to body. On top of all that I had terrible form.

Wednesday
WOD - AMRAP 30-min.
4 HSPU
8 PU's
12 Box Jumps

11-rounds

Another frustrating performance, I've never done HSPU's before so I struggled with those. The eternal battle of Me vs. Pullup's seems to be neverending and I haven't shown any progress in kip development - even after a month and a half of CrossFit.

Thursday
A Much Needed Mental Health Day

Friday
Thrusters 1-1-1-1-1
135-lbs. (Form) x 5
12:38 Extra Met-Con Ninjutsu (Scaled)

Sometimes I wonder why I even bother.

So, I ran a search on Harold's blog about some of his training experiences and his own dissappointment in his lack of improvement. He's similar to you in that he started at Crossfit as an accomplished athlete.

Check out some of his postings.
