I had to keep it real - my clean form tends to suffer whenever we go heavy so I opted to drop down to the "Pro" level as opposed to the "Elite" weight of 155-lbs. The logic being that I can & should be able to maintain some sort of technique while keeping with the intensity of the WOD.
The cleans felt good and they were pretty much touch & go from the Set of 7 onward. Jerry had Todd & I use boxes to raise our feet during Ring Pushups for that special something and it did prove to be an extra challenge. Hitting depth on a Ring Pushup with your feet about 20" to 24" inches off the ground can prove to be difficult but I was able to knock pretty large chunks of the higher sets, (i.e. 16 and up).
Overall it was a good WOD - wish I could've gone heavier but I was content with my performance. Plus, we all know what happens "When Keeping it Real... Goes Wrong:"
