30 Pullups (Chest-to-Bar)
600m Run
12 Front Squats (155-lbs.)
24 Pullups (Chest-to-Bar)
400m Run
9 Front Squats (155-lbs.)
18 Pullups (Chest-to-Bar)
Time: 23:07 (+:30-secs.)
Today's WOD was a nice change of pace - Jerry threw in some heavy Front Squats into the mix to make for a nice little met-con medley with an extra side of "brutal." In all honesty I wasn't feeling "spry" this morning and it showed. I took my time on the runs and lazily sauntered over to my loaded bar to clean the weight to do Front Squats... that is until I hit my first round of pullups. Something came over me and I said to myself "Self? Let's lay down the gauntlet for the rest of the day! Let's set the standard for every class after YOU!"
So I went "Chest-to-Bar" and made every rep count.
It's funny when you go "Chest-to-Bar" it gasses you pretty quickly but at 0515 in the morning it's almost energizing & invigorating also. I mean Chest-to-Bar is the standard for CrossFit Regionals & the Games right? So I might as well make it my standard if I want to compete and/or reach my fitness goals right?
Right.

Good job on this, Sean. This was a tough one. If you're thinking of competing next year, you did the right thing. All year, find good times to work the more difficult movements in WODs.
Also, start thinking about your weakness and find time after class all year to work those movements. Training for next year starts now.
The 155# FS was tough enough, but adding in the C2B was a smoker.
