June - First Friday - Pick Your Own WOD

WOD:

"Angie"

100 Pullups (Chest-2-Bar)
100 Pushups (Chest-2-Deck)
100 Situps
100 Squats

For June's "Pick Your Own Girl/Hero" Friday I had originally planned to do "Nate" (20-min. AMRAP 2 MU's, 4 HSPU's, 8 KB Swings) but after hitting "Ryan" on Wednesday and the 30-Muscle Up Festival last week I was all Muscle Up'ed-out.

So I opted to hit a benchmark lady that I've yet to encounter in my CrossFit travels - "ANGIE."

This was a tough one because ever since I started going C2B (Chest-to-Bar) on Pullups in my WOD's there's been a lot of energy expended on 'em. Needless to say - a hundred C2B Pullups is A TON. I was able to make up lost time on Pushups though which, I feel, are a stronger movement for me. ABMAT's were sooo slow though, not that I was taking prolonged breaks or anything, just felt like I was crawling along. And finally I impressed myself in that I was able to retain a decent cycle rate and finish pretty strong with the Squats.

Hopefully Pullups are OFF the menu for Saturday's WOD.
