Revenge of the Nerd

WOD - "Cindy:"

20-min AMRAP

5 Pullups
10 Pushups
15 Air Squats

I've been dying to exact my revenge on "Cindy." We met back on February 4th and (I'm sure I've told everyone this story today...) it was my 3rd day of CrossFit and I was thoroughly embarrassed - I meagerly eked out 10 rounds and couldn't muster a kipping pullup to save my life! I remember laying on the floor in a pool of own bodily fluids, arms shaking involuntarily, legs completely immobile, thinking to myself:

"What the EFF am I doing here!?!"

At that point I vowed that I whenever we came back to "Cindy" that I would grit my teeth and try and hammer through as many rounds as possible. So today for June's first Friday "Pick Your Own Benchmark" day I decided to revisit my favorite little tramp and see what kind of magic we could make:

Rounds Completed: 20-rounds

I made a goal that I wanted to hit 20-rds. That's not too much to ask is it? All I know is that my best & fastest work is done in the beginning so if I could somehow manage to power through as many rounds before I hit my fatigue "wall" then I'd be alright for the most part. The trick was just to keep moving after hitting said "wall"which is more of a mental battle. The last 5-minutes or so were really, really exhausting and there were several points during the battle where I really wanted to throw in the towel... but I also really wanted to hit my goal. Thanks to everyone for pushing me today!
