WOD:
Back Squat 5 x 5
Top Load: 215-lbs.
Coach mentioned a story on Facebook:
"I had a training partner who loved to squat HEAVY and it also happened that he didn't drink alcohol. A bunch of the guys were ripping on him in the barracks saying "Never trust a guy who doesn't drink!" I quickly responded "Never trust a guy who doesn't SQUAT."
Now, I don't drink but now this story makes me want to squat MORE. I've let on in previous posts that I'm not the biggest advocate for Back Squats but I'm willing to change that for the upcoming New Year & decade.
