WOD:
For Time:
Run 1-mile
Rest
Run "800m"
Rest
Run 400m
Times: 7:12 / 3:56 / 1:27
Not my favorite WOD but a necessary evil. It was dark, and it was cold. All that was missing was some rain and you would've had a "picture perfect" morning for a run.
Notes:
- The mile run felt strong until I hit that hilly & twisty section down near the end of the water. That kind of sucked the spring out of my legs, everything after that was just straight willpower. The goal was to go sub-7 so that me looking at that 12-secs. is killing me right now.
- That is NOT 800m! I used Google Maps to look up the distance from 805 N. Royal to the 3rd Street Intersection, it is 3 tenths of a mile - so 6 tenths total.
- Trying to run a 400m sprint after all that is "fun."

I agree it is not 800m, but I do not think it is 610th of a mile or 965m either. I think more like 875m-900m.
Anyway, you could guess 20-30 seconds off your time for 800m if that makes you feel better.
Point taken!
All I'm saying is that back in the day I used to run sub-2 mins. in the 800m consistently. Granted that was a long time ago but still...
