Revenge of the Jerk!

WOD:

Split Jerk 7x1

Top Load: 215-lbs. (PR)

Want proof that you suck at the Jerk? (Well... maybe not suck, but aren't as proficient as you should be?) Let's take a look at some numbers of mine shall we?

Current Jerk & Push Press Persona Records:

Jerk: 215-lbs.
Push Press: 215-lbs.

Snatch Grip Jerk: 225-lbs.
Snatch Grip Push Press: 225-lbs.

TECHNIQUE FAIL.

Coach says there are a lot of factors at play when performing the Jerk, i.e. shoulder mobility, active shoulders, ability to push under the bar, speed, footwork, the list goes on & on. I think what would probably help me the most is the speed & push under the bar. Right now I believe I'm able to get away with decent loads on the bar because of my push press speed and that's it!
