"Fight Gone Bad" Intervals

WOD:

20 Wallballs
20 KB High Pulls (70-lbs.)
20 Box Jumps
20 Push Presses (75-lbs.)
20 Calorie Row

3-Rounds: Each for Time; 1-min. Rest in Between!

Best Time: 4:20

Remind me to conveniently schedule a "Rest Day" if & when CFOT decides to do "Fight Gone Bad." I can't imagine doing 1-minute Wallballs, and heaven forbid... 1-MINUTE ROWS!?!

EPIC.

All I hear are stories about FGB and how painful it is - going through this WOD gives me a glimpse of why. They should rename it to "Fight Gone Terrible" or something that actually conveys the hurt & suffering willfully brought upon by oneself. But I digress - FGB is essentially (at least I think it is) Push-Pull-Plyo-Push-Pull with legs involved through out. The two weakest movements for me are the Push Presses & Rows, Box Jumps are the easiest, and Wallballs & KB High Pulls are middle of the road. All in all I ended up doing 4-rounds, 3 under 5-mins.

Random Thoughts:

1.) I saw a video on VIMEO of a dude doing a 52" Box Jump... I wanna piece of that action! Who's with me?

2.) For those who don't know I workout @ 0515 (Team Cinco!) and by the time I get to work I am ravenous for some vittles. Here's what I had this morning: 2 apples, 2 "things" of string cheese, 15 almonds, a bag of beef jerky, 2 boiled eggs, yogurt, a handful of strawberries, water, and I know there was more but I can't remember because it was all a blur.

Question: Does anybody else get the worst munchies ever after a CrossFit WOD or any workout in general?

I could probably eat a horse after...

Unfortunately I'm sure a horse covered in Peanut Butter slipped by with me not even knowing I ate it.

I bought one of those cheap scales to weigh my portions. I make a smoothie that comes in around 1.5 lbs (I knew it was alot, but not that much)! The basics in the shake - yogurt, cup or so of various fruits/berries, skim milk, oj, whey, and some flax. I share a little with my 2 kids, but still, I'm famished 2 1/2 hours later. I'm really not sure if it's too much, or not enough.

Congrats on those box jumps. I will have to find something different to write in my blog... you took the Terrible. Ugh!

I'm eating a stict 3 block breakfast + a cup of tea around 0645 But then I turn around and eat my 3 block lunch at 1100. I'm not ravenous, but I can ALWAYS eat more!

i get the worst muchies about 9am...i could just eat all morning, especially after a workout like FGB--i could literally feel my metabolism racing all mornin'. but instead of eating, i just drink my H20 and go hungry...

I think you should totally go for the 52"box jumps--i'll be there to cheer ya on!

Danny, Chriss, and Joel decided one day in the blue room to stack up all the old blue mats, and to start jumping them... the pic of the tape measure is actually taller than Danny...
