WOD:
Squat Cleans 5x5
Loads: 95-115-135-155-165
Today was 5 sets of 5 Squat Cleans and I tried to focus on overall form & technique. Pulling from the floor felt good, and getting it to the "pockets" also felt good. There were a couple of suspect pulls that I tended to bounce off my quads resulting in an outward, horizontal force instead of opening up the hips generating an upward, vertical one. I'm starting to feel a little bit more comfortable with Cleans in general and hopefully all this work we've been doing will help put it all together. I could've gone heavier than 165-lbs. but my elbows are extremely sore from yesterday's Muscle Up Festival and all this heavy pulling was just making the pain worse. We'll see if I make it in for the Saturday workout.

First you opted to do a Met-Con WOD over Heavy Squat Cleans and now you must be on Spring Break again because you surely can't be working! LOL
