Aww, Back to the End of the Line...

WOD:

5-RFT.

400m Run
30 Double Unders
20 KB Swings (53-lbs.)

Time: 20:20

You know what's weird is that I was just talking to someone yesterday about how I'd love to do a WOD with Double Unders in it just to see how I'd fare. Working DU's in a warmup or as skill work is great and all but when it comes to a WOD it's a totally different world.

Woke up this morning face to face with my cat pleading with me for food as opposed to my alarm which meant only one thing - I was late like a mug! So I high-tailed it and was late getting to the box. Everyone was already finishing their 1st round by the time I got there so I jumped right into the fracas and got busy.

I'll admit - my first round was blazing! I dunno if it was because I was playing "catch up" or what but the first 400m was quick, the 30 DU's were over in a flash, and the KB Swings were all unbroken. I kind of hit a wall on the 3rd round of KB Swings, my forearms were toast - after that it I was just trying to keep moving.

No Sub-20 for me - just like that in +:21 seconds I was officially demoted back to the "Ninjas in Training" squad.

you'll be back to ninja when that du whipping wrist is healed.

yeah, but the real question from today's story is 'did you feed your cat?'

Oh Sean... haven't you learned by now? That's what WOMEN! are for... to bake pies, clean the kitchen, and feed the animals.

Rookie.
