***The "Gutter" Week continues on for me.***

Dude, I freaking LOVE the Olympic Lifts! But man I suck soo badly at them it almost hurts! I always get stoked for an Oly day walking into the box, but I leave a defeated & broken little man leaving the box. And I've talked about this before - I think there is some sort of mental-to-muscle memory disconnect for me because I consistently do the same thing over and over. I thrust with the hips, bouncing the bar off my thighs and then clean, snatch, or finagle whatever weight I might be using at the time.

This morning was no different, it's like I know what to do but doing it is a totally different story. So I wasn't coming to full hip extension and I ended up bouncing the bar off my thighs away from my body instead of coming to full extension, shrugging with the bar travelling up my body, and then flicking wrists and getting under the bar. I've snatched 130-lbs. before but I'm sure that was with sucky technique.

So yeah, another WOD in the books. I'm coming up here on 6-months of CrossFit and feeling a little introspective as far as how far I've come and the amount of work still yet to do.

Tomorrow is another day - hopefully I can end the week on a good note.
