WOD:
Front Squats 2-2-2-1-1
Top Load: 235-lbs. [PR]
Awwwwww Yeah!
I finally got my four big wheels (225-lbs.) on my Front Squat and I was able to walk away with 20-lb. PR this morning - I was pretty stoked about it actually considering how things have been going lately.
The past couple of weeks has been rough. There's just been a lot of stuff going on and you're taught to be strong and/or persevere but man, sometimes you just wanna "wallow in it" you know what I mean? It's safe to say though that all that "wallowing" translates to crappy performances in the box. I literally had no motivation to push myself at all - none! It was pretty pitiful considering there's usually something that I can channel or look to inspire & motivate myself but the tank has been empty. I've been slacking in the box, slacking on my diet while putting on some L-B's! Just slacking in general.
But I feel like I'm back on the upswing. Took a couple days off including the weekend just to figure out some stuff and recharge the ole batteries. Came back to the box on Monday and got blasted which felt good. Started eating & sleeping well again and was able to come back in this morning and hit a nice PR. So things are looking like they're back on the up & up.
Thanks to all for sticking with me - you know who you are.

So are you saying that the shirtless photo of me is motivating you to get some PRs?
You're welcome.
Brother, you have no idea...!
Congrats on 4 wheels. That is a big mental jump. I am not there yet. Maybe today is the day!
Keep me/us posted!
