This workout would've been bearable if it weren't for the terrible bookends it started & ended with. As stated in previous blog entries rowing sucks me dry like a golddigging heffer at a millionaires retirement home. And the weighted walking lunge with the 30-lb. dumbells? Get the heck outta here!
The first round felt great, I felt awesome - I was efficient on the row, the box jumps were a piece of cake, the ring pushups were unbroken, and I was able to suffer through the walking lunges but then it all pretty much fell apart from there. I was talking to "Gabes" aka Erin afterwards, I told her that I stayed up way too late watching the Redskins game last night. Not only did they lose (again) but they kept me up waaaay past my bedtime! 0400 comes awfully quick for yours truly and to say that I didn't get enough sleep is probably the understatement of the year, maybe even the decade.
It's pretty much a lock that my butt will have the consistency of pudding tomorrow - you pick the flavor.
