SERENITY NOW!

WOD:

15 Pullups (Chest-to-Bar)
9 Snatches (115-lbs.)
400m Run

12 Pullups (Chest-to-Bar)

First and foremost I want to give "mucho prop-ohs" (It's Spanish - look it up!) to Katie. She friggin' smashed this WOD to smithereens kinda like I do crab legs at a seafood buffet!

Now that I got that outta the way - more snatches. Heavier but not exactly "Isabel" weight but taxing none the less. To me this was a brutal workout, and prior to it I had already told myself that I needed to turn the clock off and just work the movement and get back to the basics. I took my time setting up for the snatch and I think I lost overall intensity but I still got smoked. So for the last round of 15 snatches I just tried to go as fast as I possibly could, touch & go if possible, and I was able to catch LtCol Dan on the final 400m.

Good work... I turned off the clock and the load... down to just movement, speed and load later.

Keep at it. You know it will come!

Way to start it up again.

You got another hopper challenge in you? Local CFOT style! I am in. Honestly, I am not going to do well, but for now I am going to pretend that I have a chance. So, let the smack talking begin.

I am going to smoke you SONI!
